Jul 18, 2023

This profile is part of the Glossy Pop Guide to Influencer-Founded Brands, covering the fashion, beauty and wellness companies started by people who built their careers on social media.  More from the series →

In 2012, Garcia started her career on Instagram, where she posted about all things makeup. She slowly evolved her content to include videos on nails, OOTDs and general chats about life. She never imagined that hobby would turn into a career. With no prior connections to the beauty industry, however, Garcia’s YouTube success opened many doors for her. In May 2021, she launched her makeup brand, Exo Cosmetics. Exo Cosmetics offers a variety of lashes, lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes and brush sets.

Platforms: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok

Why did you decide to bring a brand into this crowded marketplace?

There’s always room to grow in this industry, you just have to be passionate about what you bring out.

What makes the brand different?

My brand caters to your everyday girl who wants to be just a little natural but then can be a little extra, but wont break the bank with our prices. Simplicity is what i love the most.

Fun fact:

I created my first lash box, my manufactures couldn’t bring my vision to life so I cut up my samples and glued them together one late night in my beauty room to create and bring my vision to life and now we’re here.
