The 2026 Glossy Fashion and Luxury Awards winners reflect an industry increasingly defined by experience, personalization and cultural connection. Across fashion and luxury, leading brands are finding ways to meet consumers beyond traditional product transactions, whether through immersive physical spaces, digitally native collaborations or campaigns that turn cultural participation into brand engagement. The common thread is a shift toward meaningful audience relationships and brand relevance beyond the point of purchase.
Coach’s activation with The Sims 4, which won Best Brand Collaboration, illustrated how that shift is playing out in digital environments. By bringing its “Courage to Be Real” ethos into a virtual world built on creativity and self-expression, Coach’s campaign became part of the player experience rather than interrupting it. The open-access collection, which included wearable items and signature handbags, generated millions of in-game impressions and more than 122 million item try-ons while connecting Coach with a young, highly engaged community. The collaboration also demonstrated the expanding role of gaming, creators and online communities in luxury marketing, where cultural relevance can be built through participation as much as traditional media.
SKIMS and Canada Goose showed how experience-led thinking is reshaping the physical and commercial sides of fashion. SKIMS, which won Fashion Brand of the Year, paired rapid category expansion with an accelerating retail footprint, opening 15 U.S. stores while expanding into beauty and fragrance through its acquisition of SKKN by Kim. Its NikeSKIMS partnership, including a Spring 2026 campaign starring Blackpink singer Lisa, further pushed the brand into performance, entertainment and global creator culture.
Canada Goose won New Store of the Year for its flagship on Paris’ Champs-Élysées. The space combined local French oak, energy-responsive lighting and work from Indigenous artists with archival displays that nodded to the brand’s Northern heritage. The store also introduced Canada Goose’s first European very important customer (VIC) suite and more personalized customer service, underscoring how luxury retail is increasingly designed around relationships as much as products.
Considered together, the 2026 winners point to a broader evolution in luxury, where stores become destinations for discovery and relationship-building while personalized service and cultural storytelling are integral to the customer journey.
