Inside Farfetch’s long-awaited IPO filing: rising revenue (and customer-acquisition costs)
In its filing, Farfetch laid out its approach for driving global online luxury fashion sales, both on its platform and by providing partners with technology systems, which resulted in the company earning $386 million in revenue in 2017. It also addressed all the risk factors associated, and one of the biggest risks facing the company as it looks to scale its reported 1.1 million active users is the increasing cost of customer acquisition.
