The Glossy Beauty and Wellness Awards recognize companies that are transforming the beauty and wellness spaces through campaigns, initiatives, products and practices. This year’s winners reflect the evolving landscape of beauty, where accessible luxury and clean formulations are reshaping expectations for quality and price.

Brands are leaning into personalized, tech-driven tools that help consumers navigate an increasingly complex market while strengthening community ties through online engagement and in-person experiences. This year’s winners stood out for collaborations, which extended cultural relevance and broadened their reach.

Together, these trends highlight how the industry is redefining innovation and influence.

For example, CeraVe marked its 20th year with a mix of product innovation and cultural visibility that reinforced its status as a leader in accessible skin care, while earning it Skin-Care Brand of the Year, a new category in 2025.

The brand expanded into scalp care and introduced a slate of new formulas. CeraVe also met consumers through pop-ups, creator trips and a robust social presence. Its “20 Years of CeraVe Tour” drew large crowds, and its Super Bowl campaign generated billions of impressions. With strong engagement across platforms and continued category expansion, CeraVe broadened its global reach and deepened trust among consumers.

In just three years, Rhode has become one of beauty’s most influential breakout brands, culminating in a landmark 2025 that reshaped the industry — and securing the brand the award for Beauty Brand of the Year.

The Hailey Bieber-founded label became the fastest beauty brand ever to be acquired for $1 billion and entered retail with the biggest launch in Sephora North America history, selling three products per second during its opening weekend. Alongside record sales and global expansion, Rhode continued to fuel cultural momentum through viral launches, immersive pop-ups and creator-driven buzz, proving that a tightly curated, community-powered brand can redefine what modern beauty success looks like.

Rhode co-founder, president and Chief Brand Officer Laura Ratner was also recognized this year as Beauty Marketer of the Year. She has been central to the brand’s rapid rise, steering its commercial strategy, creative direction and cultural impact since launch.

Her leadership helped drive two defining milestones: a $1 billion acquisition by e.l.f. Beauty and the biggest beauty brand debut in Sephora North America history. Ratner’s approach fused content, community and commerce, producing viral launches, record sales and global expansion. From a high-profile Times Square curtain drop in New York City to an immersive Mallorca takeover, she built moments that strengthened Rhode’s identity and cemented its position as one of the most influential beauty brands of its generation.

Finally, Starface’s first fashion collaboration with Heaven by Marc Jacobs turned a skin care staple into a statement accessory and earned the brand the award for Best Brand Collaboration.

The limited-edition Hydro-Stars, designed by tattoo artists and promoted through stark passport-style portraits of talent including Grimes and Lil Uzi, pushed pimple patches further into the world of self-expression. The collection sold out in under a day, drew a surge of first-time customers and quickly appeared on resale sites at steep markups. By merging nostalgia, streetwear and the visual language of tattoos, the collaboration underscored Starface’s growing role as both a skin care brand and a cultural accessory.
