Soon, the fashion industry will gather for New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021. For many, the event will mark a return to IRL shows, presentations, dinners and parties, after seasons of viewing designers’ new collections on a digital screen. Of course, others will forego the privilege, opting to avoid the included mandates, or simply knowing that many designers have learned to prioritize the digital versions of their shows as much as the physical.
